First impression is important! #DST

I have always thought that if you like it once at first, you will always do! Maybe not in every case but I strongly believe in the first impression. First impression when you see, meet or introduce a person, an object, a dog, a house, a university, whatever…or even a course. And YES, my first impression of the digital storytelling course was just amazing.

People who come from different countries around the world, different unique languages, different cultures and living styles, different point of views. Collaborating together while learning and having fun at the same time. The professor who was so welcoming, friendly and understandable made it easier for me to adopt. I felt free to talk, discuss, share my thoughts and to be part of a new group, very different from what I used to be.

What I loved the most in that course was that being part of it, would make me express myself, talk and share my opinion openly, get knowledge by listening and telling storys in a digital way, that will help me in my future as a journalist student, who inspires to be a good journalist.

Time passed quickly or it seemed to me, after we introduced ourselves, learned about the course, listened to digital storytelling from other students and discuss how we felt, talked about our thoughts and a lot of things that were very worthy. Before participating in the course, I was just wondering if I would choose it, and after the first lesson ended I knew the answer… Yes I was in the right place. To be honest I believe a lot in my instincts and in my first impression, so now I am happy to be part of a group that has a lot to teach and I am ready to give my best!
